GINGER AND CARDAMOMS WHITE CHICKEN


Have you ever tasted something savory and yet very refreshing and calming? If there is a Zen food, I would totally argue that this dish would be it. The combination of ginger and cardamoms is so brilliant and unexpected. I tried variety of dishes using different spices and this one is a perfect combination. Another comfort food during stressful time, a nice dish to savor with love ones and a out of the box recipe you would wanted to try one time. Check out the simple ingredients.






INGREDIENTS:

500 grams White Chicken/breast part
salt and pepper
3 tbsp minced white ginger 
pinch of freshly ground cardamom pods
500 ml of chicken stock
Celery or Cilantro

PROCEDURE:

  1. Over a steamer with chicken stock beneath, season the chicken with salt and pepper, ginger and cardamoms and cook right over through until chicken is tender. 15-20 minutes approx.
  2. Once cooked, lay it over a serving dish and pour over the sauce right underneath the steamer and put celery or cilantro on top. 
  3. Serve and enjoy!
This dish is so easy, quick, refreshing and comforting. You will never go wrong with
