Have you ever tasted something savory and yet very refreshing and calming? If there is a Zen food, I would totally argue that this dish would be it. The combination of ginger and cardamoms is so brilliant and unexpected. I tried variety of dishes using different spices and this one is a perfect combination. Another comfort food during stressful time, a nice dish to savor with love ones and a out of the box recipe you would wanted to try one time. Check out the simple ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
500 grams White Chicken/breast part
salt and pepper
3 tbsp minced white ginger
pinch of freshly ground cardamom pods
500 ml of chicken stock
Celery or Cilantro
PROCEDURE:
- Over a steamer with chicken stock beneath, season the chicken with salt and pepper, ginger and cardamoms and cook right over through until chicken is tender. 15-20 minutes approx.
- Once cooked, lay it over a serving dish and pour over the sauce right underneath the steamer and put celery or cilantro on top.
- Serve and enjoy!
